Postdoctoral Researcher at Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
My current research focuses on X-ray to UV/Optical reverberation mapping of AGN, X-ray spectral properties and X-ray spectral-timing variability using the state-of-the-art space observatories XMM-Newton, NuSTAR, Swift, AstroSat, Chandra and, recently, XRISM. I am interested in understanding the structure and kinematics of the inner accretion flow onto the black hole and the geometry of the accretion-disc corona system. I am trying through my research to gain observational insights into the central engine where most accretion power is released and into the structure and evolution of the X-ray corona: how energy is produced from it and interacts with the accretion disc and how X-ray photons behave in the vicinity of the black hole.
