Title: Young stars and their inner disk evolution: An Observational Perspective
Speaker:Min Fang(Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy Of Sciences)
Time: Thursday, 3:00pm, Dec. 09th
Location: Lecture Hall, 3rd floor
Planets form from the dust and gas contained in protoplanetary disks around young stars. A study of these young stars and their protoplanetary disks is key to understanding how the planetary systems, including our Solar System, form. In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the observations on deriving the properties of young stars and studying the inner parts of protoplanetary disks including their evolution and activities.
